the concert is great!
at least we didn break down..hahahaha..
first half we were rather nervous
and nt to mention e stupid hall is damn damn hot!!!
you can even see the audience taking the repertoire fanning themselves..
and performers are perspiring like dunno wad..

after interval we were more calm..
and 'hymn to the sea' is surprisingly nt too bad though..
still gt some impact..haha..
after tat is phototaking..

becos she has the brightest and cutest smile ever:)
but the sad thing is she can't talk :(
she is on heavy medication and that cause her tongue to shrink..
with that, she can't articulate..
and thats v sad cos i no longer can chat with her..
when i was young,
she used to have endless talks..
she chat with mi and even GOSSIP with me hee..
when i got scolded or caned,
i will run over to her house and cry..
she never fail to pacify me with soft drinks and chocolate that she hides away (to prevent us from eatin too much)
i love her alot and it pains me when i see her upset as she cant speak n express herself..
she could onli show gestures that many a time we dunno wad she is tryin to convey..
that ends up with her tearing and us upset..
she is realli a nice lady..
she is a strong grandma!!
years back, she fell down at home and broke her bone again..
she was admitted to the hospital and went thru several operations..
her wounds were open up again and again becos of those damn infections..
it was a torture for her..
it was very painful for her..
she stayed in the hospital for months..
she even said she dreamt of 'dirty things'..
can you imagine how hard isit for her?
she even tried to give up living by pulling out the tubes that are inserted to her arms..
blood splash out and she was crying..
everybody felt her tiredness of living..
but luckily..
god bless her and she pulled it through..
she moved to my hse and she was happy:)
cos there are people in the hse to accompany her..
at least she is nt bored..

i know that she feels lonely at times cos we are nt at home in e day..
and oso she can;t talk..
imagine a thousand words in ur heart but can't be said and expressed out..
her hands are too weak to write as well..
but i hope tat my companion at times will sooth her..

suddenly i have the craving for sweet things..

yesterday met up with zz and kinwai..
had dinner at pepper lunch..
its my first time dining there and the food is nice!
its very tasty.. though i tot that the smell could be better..

cos i realli cant stand the smell back then..

BORED

work at ace has been powerfully SLACK ever since exams ended..
the children went mad in their classroom while the teachers gathered and chit chat for hours..
after few hour of chit chats and there's still some time before knock off,
i will be spotted stoning on my desk, falling asleep.

during these period of time, teachers are all grabbing their leaves and includin mi:)
on top of that, i have time off! imagine workin from 2pm till 7pm and still granted for time off..
meaning i will start working at 430pm till 7pm. pay still counts as from 2pm to 7pm. lame or shiok? you decide.
it mus be some gift from god that i found this job.
and one of my sweet colleague gave mi a pen which she had sewed or done something on it with my name:))

my head throb the whole day..
todae is the last day of my uncle's funeral..

we left the casket for the funeral mass at church of the holy spirit..
mi and my cousins (the super sua kus) were inside the hall exploring their seats..
then we saw that at the bottom of the row of seats in front of us, there is some cushion that u can pull dwn..
we pulled it dwn and discussed excitedly 'wa! so good! got cushions to rest ur leg/feet one lei..'
and with that, we rest our legs on them comfortably thinking that the service session afterward will be much in comfort..
den my another cousin saw and shriek,

'oi! siao ah! that one for people to kneel dwn one lei! never watch tv huh?!'

hearin tat, my cousins and i frantically lift our legs and push the cushion back, followed by lots of apologies hoping tat we didn't offend the God.
sigh...

during the service session, my uncle nearly made mi die!
walau eh..u know im the kind of person who laugh at the slightest thing..
and he is a uncle of mine who never stop joking, even in that situation, a funeral.

when he came and sat beside mi, i nearly wanted to faint and run for another new place to sit.

firstly,
when the people are singing the prayers,
my uncle didn know how to sing BUT SANG VERY LOUDLY..
AND THATS DAMN FUNNY I TELL U
I SWEAR!
and there's this particular song that ends off with the word 'happy'..
and i dunno wad went into my uncle's head..
he continued by singing 'happy birthday to u.. blah blah blah..
i nearly went bonkers.
i laughed till mad and i didn mean it
i know its damn rude to laugh when people are mourning over my uncle's death..
but i can;t help it! but i didn laugh loudly la..i held my breath and laugh and it sounded like a rat squeaking..plus my body shaking badly..i realli could not control man..

secondly,
when i got over the laughter and decided that i mus be really serious,
my uncle started another thing.
cos there are people who walk around taking a flask thing that gives out smoke and some kind of smell..
i guess it was some holy things that they usually practice during service..
and my uncle said ,' got mosquito ah?? why they take that thing?' (he was resembling the thing with a mosquito coil)
it was exceptionally funny when he said that in our dialect
even my another uncle sitting in front could hear him and giggled as well.
i realli could not bear it any longer and i hide below the chair and giggle.
my body was shaking so badly that people from the back will tot that im crying.
but luckily sitting at the back were my close relatives and they will have know that it mus be my uncle who is making mi laugh.
i realli dun mean to laugh again. i swear.
and there's still lots of things tat he made mi laugh which i lazy to mention here.

the worst part is while i am laughing at him,
he whispered to mi in a very serious tone like a Father who spotted me and telling me sternly, ' you are not suppose to laugh'.

after awhile, my uncle went in front to join my other uncles..
and i was so relieve i tell u!
people at the service who saw mi laughing would have killed me.
towards the end of the service,
there's a final hymm..
and my uncle ran back to mi and say 'where where? which page? i want to sing.'
i realli wish that i could turn and run away..rather den to laugh and got heard and got beaten up
and as expected, he sang his own song again.
this time my cousin, his daughter who is sitting beside mi gt a bit pissed and scolded his dad 'ah pa! dun siao la! dun anyhow sing la!'
but he ignored his daughter and continued singing loudly and awfully lah
luckily they were singing as we are walkin out of the hall.
he was still singing when he met his wife at the door of the hall
and his wife stared hard at him like telling him 'no nonsense please!'

until now, my heart is still feel suffocated from all the inner laughing.
again, i realli dun mean to laugh.
i regretted standing beside him.
so the moral of the story is
'when u are not suppose to be laughing, dun ever go near him or even have any eye contact with him'

even my mother laughed at the crematory session when she caught his eyes.
